Nail technicians Brushes vary from the product to the task at hand. Collect and take care of your brushes. We have many art brushes from detailer, striper, mini and ombre brushes. Gel brushes tend to be flat with a square, oval or angled bristle usually synthetic as we do not gather up product inside the brush rather the surface of the brush. The traditional #107 and #108 are wider and the #4, #5 are more slender. A round long gel sculpting brush encourages no pressure applying the gel. The square and angle brushes are great for swiping french application and precision. The #6 3D brush is used to work with 3D powder to create embellishments. The #6 brush is best for Acrylite. The #6 or #9 is good for Acrylic. Brushes are a preference. Clean your brushes gently with Enviro at the end of the day to remove any lodged product. Do not spray the bristles, press gently in solution, then on paper towel keeping bristles in uniform. Some prefer to leave monomer or thin gel in the brush to moisturise. Store in your brush case or a storage container. If the bristles fray you can trim and eventually create your own art brush. Wipe handles with surface cleaner in between clients. Always clean the brush in between each product as to not drag residue from pot to pot.
