The professional can add the paraffin service to any menu. This service softens and moisturise the skin while soothing muscles and providing warmth to aid in penetration of active ingredients. This add on to a manicure can be after gel polish and after a massage using an unscented massage lotion with or without essential oils added to customise the treatment. The pedicure can have the added service also with or without polish and with or without massage. In each instance we are not to dip the body part in the full paraffin pot. You can scoop into the liner and squish onto the hand or foot. You can use a coarse paint brush to paint on the body part. You can dip a 4X4 gauze into paraffin and then drape on body part until covered. Then put on liner to seal in the warmth and then a towel or mitt or boot made of cloth. You can also use 1 lb per client and place in a clean paraffin pot, then dip only that client’s body parts. Charge accordingly and then empty and clean pot to prepare for next customer. Doing this method they could choose the type of paraffin also. For the face you would use a mask brush or the 4X4 gauze with cut out eye and nose holes.You can also use a towel warmer to use a warm towel to start the service and end the service. A hot towel feels really good.
